Sorry I haven't posted much in the last few days. I disconnected the Internet at the hotel (applying the savings to my burn-related expenditures and eliminating incentives to stay inside my hotel room), so I can only get on the Internet at work, where I'm supposed to be ... you, know, working.
I'm renting a car and spending the weekend driving around Jordan, hoping to see as much of the major tourist spots as I can: Petra, the Dead Sea, Mount Nebo, Madaba, Jerash, and the King's Highway. I won't have e-mail or Internet access, but I will have my cell phone.
