I'm short on Internet time, so I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
I took the night train from Cairo to Luxor.
I took a tour to the Valley of the Kings to see the tombs of the Egyptian pharoahs. They were amazing in every way, including their humidity. I have newfound respect for the workers who built them that will give rich new meaning to next year's Seder.
I saw the entrance to King Tutankhamen's tomb, but since there is nothing inside (it's in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo) and it cost extra, I didn't go in.
I saw a temple built by Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt's most powerful female ruler.
I roasted in the sun. It was really, really hot.
